Dear families.
After a community concern in the fall, the district
developed a new website and mobile app to increase our capacity for
communication. If you download the app, you can enroll in “Notifications”
to receive information as timely as possible. Click here for Android or here for Apple.
This week was our first attempt to use the tool as
designed. We have found some places to improve the tool and will begin working
on that immediately.
I mention this to you again as we will use this tool to
release any quick announcement about a security situation or even a snow day.
Our first response will be to ensure all students are safe. Then we will
begin communicating out to directly impacted families/schools. Once we
have all of the facts we will use all of our communication systems to reach out
to all families within the district.
The new app is a great place to access Infinite Campus,
News, Calendars, AND Notifications.
