Upcoming Field Trips for 6th Grade
Extending learning beyond the classroom
5/19, 11:30-3:00 Salida Pool: We’ll walk from the school to the pool for some swimming and lunch. Cost for this trip will be $3.00. Students will provide their own lunch or get a sack lunch from school.
5/20, all day - GARNA walking field trip: Information will be sent through the science class. Students will provide their own lunch or get a sack lunch from school.
5/25, 12:30-3:30 - Salida Bowling Alley: We’ll walk from school to the bowling alley. We will go in two different groups. One will play from 1:00-2:00, and the other will play from 2:00-3:00. Cost for bowling will be $3.00.
5/26- Field Day- time TBD
5/27- 11:00-2:00 - Vandaveer Ranch: We’d like to celebrate the end of the year with a picnic lunch at Vandaveer. Parents are welcome to join us if you would like. Students will provide their own lunch or get a sack lunch from school.
Please have your student bring the $6.00 for both field trips to his/her homeroom teacher by TUESDAY, MAY 18. If families would like assistance with the cost, please reach out to any of the 6th grade teachers.
